In order to protect your data as best as possible, we do not operate our own servers, but rather delegate this task to one of the leading providers in the industry in Germany. Your data is stored in a German data center that meets ISO27001 certification for cloud security, ISO27017 for data protection in the cloud and in particular ISO27018 for protection of personal data. All connections over which data is transmitted are of course encrypted. Only the user has access to the personal data (which for us includes the position of your machine) that the exatrek adapter or the exatrek app stores in the cloud. No one can see where you are currently working or where you have traveled. An exception is the fleet function of the exatrek app: If you become a member of a vehicle fleet, the other fleet members can see your current location on a map within the app. However, it is up to you to deactivate location sharing in the settings of your exatrek app. In order to ensure the functionality of exatrek, it is necessary that some of the data that the device or the connected smartphone collects is also stored in the exatrek cloud. In order to ensure the function of the exatrek app, it is also necessary that location access is used in the background. However, this data belongs to you and we will not sell it to third parties.
